María Claudia Borda, MD, Occupational Health Specialist, Master’s in Health Services Administration, and certified in Lifestyle Medicine by the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine, is a corporate health leader with over 17 years of experience, with a strong focus on mental health and workplace well-being. A graduate of Medicine from the Universidad del Rosario, she has dedicated her career to designing and implementing evidence-based, human-centered strategies to address stress, burnout, and psychosocial risks in organizational settings. Since 2011, she has been part of Procter & Gamble, where she leads occupational health and well-being programs, positioning mental health as a core pillar of sustainable productivity. She is a former President and current Vice President of the Sociedad Colombiana de Medicina del Trabajo, and co-founder of the Asociación Colombiana de Medicina de Estilo de Vida. She also serves as an advisor to the Organización Internacional del Trabajo and the Organización Panamericana de la Salud, contributing to the development of workplace mental health and well-being strategies. She is a co-author of occupational health books and an international speaker, recognized for promoting organizational cultures that prioritize resilience, human connection, and comprehensive well-being as key drivers of mental health.
