Lori A Rolando MD, MPH FACOEM is the Executive Director of Vanderbilt Faculty & Staff Health and Wellness. She is board certified in Occupational and Environmental Medicine and is an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine within the Vanderbilt Department of Medicine’s Division of General Internal Medicine and Public Health.
Dr. Rolando joined Vanderbilt in July 2008 as Assistant Medical Director of the Occupational Health Clinic. She has subsequently worked extensively with in Health & Wellness, stepping into the role of Director of the Occupational Health Clinic in 2017, prior to moving into her current role in January 2023. She also served as Medical Director of the Health Plus health promotion program from 2009-2017. Throughout her various roles within Faculty & Staff Health and Wellness, she has always been and continues to be dedicated to ensuring the health, safety, wellbeing, and productivity of the Vanderbilt workforce. She also has served on multiple institutional committees for the both the Medical Center and University in furtherance of this goal.
Dr. Rolando earned her medical degree from Southern Illinois University (SIU) and completed her Occupational Medicine residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center as well as her MPH at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine of New York University in New York City.
