Dr. Swift is Professor of Medicine in the Division of Public Health, Infectious Diseases and Occupational Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. She is a past chair of ACOEM’s Medical Center Occupational Health (MCOH) Section, and a coauthor of ACOEM guidelines on Medical Center Occupational Health, TB testing and treatment of healthcare personnel, laboratory animal allergies, influenza, pertussis, and others. At the Mayo Clinic, she holds leadership roles in the Physician Health Center, Occupational Health Services, Institutional Biosafety, and the Mayo Clinic Center for Tuberculosis, one of four CDC-designated TB Centers of Excellence. Prior to joining Mayo Clinic she directed the Occupational Health program at Vanderbilt.
