Senior Medical Director; Associate Professor

Dr. Rebecca Guest is the Senior Medical Director of Occupational Health Services and Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at Montefiore/Einstein in the Bronx, NY. She is the current Chair of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine Medical Center Occupational Health section and a Fellow of ACOEM. She enjoys yearly participation in AOHC, where she is faculty in two popular programs, “Medical Center Occupational Health – The Basics” and “Stump the Chumps.” Prior to joining Montefiore in 2024, Dr. Guest was the medical director of Employee Health and Wellness Services at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, associate clinical member of MSK, and associate clinical professor Weill Cornell Medical College. One domain of Dr. Guest’s research focuses on building health and wellbeing among people in highly stressful occupations. During the pandemic, Dr. Guest’s research evolved, focusing on issues of the moment including impact of vaccination on reinfection, and medical exemptions to vaccination. Outside of work, enjoys time with her family and friends, reading novels, taking walks, and yoga.
