Joy Westercamp is a second-year Environmental and Occupational Health Ph.D. candidate at the University of Illinois Chicago. She obtained a bachelor’s in Biology with minors in Economics and Entomology from Iowa State University and a Master of Public Health in Infectious Disease Epidemiology from Cornell University. Joy is passionate about global health, environmental epidemiology, health equity and justice, community engagement, and advocacy.
