Catherine Beaucham is a Commander in the U. S. Public Health Service. She completed her undergraduate degree in Industrial Hygiene from Ohio University in 2003, her MPH at The Ohio State University in 2008, and her PhD in Epidemiology at the University of Cincinnati in 2022. She is a Certified Industrial Hygienist and a Registered Environmental Health Specialist. She has worked for the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health since 2008 and is fluent Spanish. Her primary research interests include wildland firefighters and disaster epidemiology. In her free time she enjoys sports photography, especially when her 2 boys are playing soccer!
