Ivorie Stanley, MD, MPH

Ivorie Stanley, MD MPH is the Agency Medical Officer for the Columbia VA Health Care System based in Columbia, SC. She is a board-certified Occupational and Environmental Medicine physician with a robust background in business health and employee health settings. Dr. Stanley has expertise in conducting environmental medicine assessments and disability exams, establishing fitness for duty, determining reasonable accommodations and collaborating with health and safety colleagues to assess and promote safe work environments. In complement to her clinical work, Dr. Stanley is passionate about medical education and enjoys teaching in her role as Associate Program Director and Associate Clinical Professor for Prisma Health/ University of South Carolina General Preventive Medicine Residency Program. She is also secretary/ treasurer for her ACOEM component –SEACOEM. Her additional professional interests span law, process improvement, ethics, and informatics. In her personal time, Dr. Stanley enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, attending live music and sporting events, and outdoor exercise such as pickleball, jogging, and hiking.
