Tee L. Guidotti is a physician-scientist who had a three decade-long academic career before becoming a consultant, at the George Washington University Medical Center, Washington DC, and before that at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada.
Dr. Guidotti has served as President and is a fellow of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and holds many other professional fellowships and awards, including the ACOEM Lifetime Achievement Award). He has served as President of Sigma Xi, the Scientific Research Honor Society. He is also a Fellow of the American Osler Society, which is dedicated to medical history and ethics.
He is the author of over 300 papers and book chapters and has produced eight books, among them Occupational Health Services: A Practical Approach which has just been released in its third edition, 2025.
He is best known for his work on firefighters, oil and gas workers, environmental sustainability and health, and evidence-based medicolegal dispute resolution.
