Jacques Al Tawil, MD (he/him/his)

Dr. Jacques Al Tawil is a physician specializing in Occupational and Environmental Medicine at UTHealth Houston. He is pursuing a Master of Science in Biomedical Informatics and a Master of Public Health in Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences. His interests center on personalized medicine and the integration of informatics into occupational health practice, with a focus on clinical decision support and predictive modeling. Dr. Al Tawil trained in general surgery before transitioning to occupational and environmental medicine and has gained experience in clinical informatics, change management, and system implementation. He is passionate about leveraging data and technology to augment the intelligence of clinicians and promote personalized preventive and precise treatment plans that enhance the health and safety of the workforce within its specific context and environments.
