Dr. Karega Y. Paisley is the Medical Director of Occupational Health Services and an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California, Davis. He has medical oversite to the second largest Veterinary medical school and research facility in the world. Additionally, he is a Lieutenant Colonel in the California Air National Guard as Commander & Chief of Aerospace Medicine to an elite special operations unit at the 129th Rescue Wing. He held previous assignments as a medical consultant to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), has written medical policy for international governments and has trained countless Air Force doctors on Occupational and Aerospace medical practice.
Dr. Paisley is a seasoned professional with a remarkable 23 years of experience in Public Health, Occupational and Environmental, Preventative, and Aerospace Medicine. His expertise in developing prevention programs and disaster management protocols, coupled with his extensive experience in conducting health hazard evaluations for national, and international organizations. Moreover, he has also demonstrated versatility by working with and preventing global industrial hazards and zoonotic diseases. Dr. Paisley is a Fellow of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and is board certified by the American Board of Preventative Medicine in Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
