Karen Personett has led and architected DTE Energy’s enterprise wide Culture of Health & Wellbeing transformation since 2016. Under her leadership, DTE has earned more than 30 industry awards, including the prestigious C. Everett Koop Award, has been recognized as a best practice example in the U.S. Surgeon General’s Workplace Mental Health & Wellbeing report, and has been published in the peer reviewed journal Population Health Management.
With more than 20 years of experience driving transformational change, Karen is known for creating shared vision, executing disciplined, enterprise-level strategies, and unifying efforts across complex, matrixed organizations. She is driven by a core belief that wellbeing is the foundation of both personal fulfillment and organizational success.
Outside of work, Karen is married to her best friend, is the proud mom of four (mostly) adult children, and has recently entered her “Lolli era” as a grandmother.
