Public Health Medical Officer, Associate Clinical Professor

Dr. Alya Khan is a Public Health Medical Officer in the Hazard Evaluation System and Information Service (HESIS) in the Occupational Health Branch of the California Department of Public Health and is an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of California, Irvine. She is dual board certified in Internal Medicine and Occupational and Environmental Medicine. Prior to joining CDPH, she served as the Director of the Occupational and Environmental Medicine Residency Program at the University of California, Irvine. She is the President of Western Occupational and Environmental Medicine Association (WOEMA), Chair of the Council of Eduation and Academic Affairs, and serves as a member of the Scientific Technical Advisory Committee for the World Trade Center Health Program.
