Retired December 2023 from the USAF after 22 years of service within the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) community. I performed two operational ICBM tours at Francis E. Warren AFB in Cheyenne, WY (2001-2005) and Malmstrom AFB in Great Falls MT (2014-2017). Seven months after retiring (July 2024), I was diagnosed with Stage IV (Terminal) Mesothelioma at the age of 47 with an 18-month prognosis. Today, I am fighting and advocating for the men and women of the ICBM community, both past and present, to highlight the daily toxic environment exposure of Airmen executing the nuclear deterrence mission. I am calling for an independent investigation (non-Air Force agency) into the past and present toxic environment and mandating the Air Force to take appropriate action to prevent further exposure of Nuclear Airmen. Additionally, I am seeking the incorporation of the ICBM community into the PACT Act so that those who will fall victim to the toxic environment receive the proper healthcare they deserve.
