Chief Medical Officer
AF Group
Dr. Iglesias leads the medical strategy at AF Group, where he is developing an innovative, comprehensive, and evidence-based framework to address the medical and psychosocial challenges faced by injured workers. With more than 35 years of experience in disability care, workers’ compensation, and insurance leadership, he is also a sought-after speaker at national and regional conferences.
A strong advocate for a holistic, person-centered approach, Dr. Iglesias is dedicated to helping individuals achieve meaningful functional and occupational recovery following injury or illness—not merely managing symptoms. His professional interests include the early identification of biopsychosocial risk factors and the use of timely, targeted interventions to prevent delayed recovery and long-term disability.
Dr. Iglesias earned his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto and a Master of Medical Management (MMM) from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. He is board-certified in Family Medicine and Utilization Review and is a Fellow of both the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
