Rachael Zacks, MD, MPH is a double board certified physician in internal medicine and occupational and environmental medicine (OEM) who is serving in her third year as a medical officer at the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health. She currently provides medical expertise for the Health Hazard Evaluation Program, working on multidisciplinary teams to evaluate workplace concerns related to toxic metal exposures, cancer cluster investigations, infectious disease outbreaks, and respiratory hazards. Her interests include research focused on effects of natural disasters, protection of emergency responders, and international humanitarian response.
