Dallas Shi, MD, PhD, MBA, MOH, is a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Public Health Service and a physician-epidemiologist with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). She is board-certified in Occupational Medicine and Public Health and General Preventive Medicine and has led or contributed to more than 25 Health Hazard Evaluations addressing workplace exposures including mercury, silica, infectious diseases, and environmental contaminants. Dr. Shi’s work focuses on translating field-based investigations into practical workplace interventions and policy-relevant findings to improve worker health and safety.
