Dr. Turner completed his post-graduate medical training at Washington University in St. Louis and the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He is board certified in Occupational Medicine and a Fellow in the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. He holds the Doctor of Medicine and Doctor of Philosophy degrees from the University of Tennessee and the Master of Business Administration degree from George Washington University. He serves on the Health and Wellness Committee for the Greater Houston Partnership.

He has been with bp for nearly 14 years and brings to the organization a long history of executive leadership through his service in the U.S. Air Force and his employment with fortune 100 companies in senior roles in corporate medicine.
