Dan Whu, MD, MPH, FACPM, FAAMA, ABOIM, DNBPAS, CFO, PMD-T currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer at the International Association of Fire Fighters as well as a Founding Member and Senior Medical Team Manager & Disaster Physician for FEMA's Urban Search & Rescue (USAR), Florida Task Force – 1. He is also a retired Division Chief of Fire, Rescue & EMS Operations at Miami-Dade County (FL) Fire & Rescue Department, Assistant Director of the Miami-Dade County Department of Emergency Management & Homeland Security and Deputy Incident Commander of the Miami-Dade County Emergency Operations Center.
