Warren Silverman has been practicing medicine since 1978. In the process, he has been certified in Occupational and Environmental Medicine and Internal Medicine and board eligible in Emergency Medicine. He has been active within the safety community as well as aerospace and advanced technologies. At this point, he still does clinical practice, but is heavily involved in Forensic evaluations and international teaching and collaboration. In his travels he has seen some of the challenges that face a shifting global population including food security with trends which increasingly threaten the world population. In this talk he will examine some of the factors affecting food security and some futuristic projections which will markedly change the way with think about and deal with food.
