Kristopher Minsinger, MD is the Medical Director at the Naval Reactors Facility, part of the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program and operated by the Naval Nuclear Laboratory in Southeast Idaho. He earned his medical degree from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, completed residency at Rutgers University, and is board-certified in Occupational and Environmental Medicine. Dr. Minsinger previously served five years on active duty as a flight surgeon with the United States Army, specializing in aerospace medicine, for which he is board eligible, and was honored as the Theodore Lyster Flight Surgeon of the Year in 2020. His current work focuses on the biological effects of occupational ionizing radiation exposure and assessing worker fitness for continued occupational radiation duties.
