Session Description: In this session Dr Rutchik, BC in both Neurology and Occ Med, and UCSF professor will present difficult yet common cases in OEM pertaining to neurology and limb pain, head trauma, change of mental status, functional conditions, patients with safety sensitive positions, as well as chemical exposures to agents such as CO, gases, solvents and metals and a state of the art approach to diagnosis and treatment. Slides and video will be presented. Diagnostic testing such as EMG and NCV will be explained. Prevention of injury and longevity medicine will be discussed.

Educational Gaps: OEM providers do not get sufficient exposure to Neurology in residency and fellowship and many of these topics are vital to the OEM practice for providers, insurers and corporate medical directors involving significant financial loss.
