Session Description: A discussion of some of the prominent concepts in biostatistics and epidemiology, including sensitivity, specificity, number needed to treat, number needed to harm, positive and negative predictive value, absolute and relative odds ratios, sources of bias in epidemiologic research, and how to read the literature
Educational Gaps: The purpose is to educate or re-educate occupational health providers on some basic numerical and research details to facilitate a greater understanding of the literature
